A series of 10 short films will tell the story of the 10 World Restoration Flagship projects through character-driven documentary storytelling. Each project will be captured by a 7-minute documentary film. A Global Production Coordinator will engage 10 filmmakers and in-country crews, manage production, ensure the videos have high production value and are on-message.

Our team seeks an individual or group to manage procurement and coordination of logistics for multiple country shoots, and ensure proper coordination and alignment to the project’s vision and creative goals. Responsibilities include:

Together with our team, curating a creative concept and storyline for the production of 10X 7-minute videos in different countries across the globe and 10X 1-minute versions in up to 10 languages.

10 x video treatment scripts guiding the production of all 10 video shoots, informed by recorded remote pre-interviews with up to three key characters. Each treatment should be approved by UNEP before filming takes place. (Produced in collaboration with the production company)

10 x paper edits/script document supplied with the first draft of each edit for ease of feedback

Support our team in locating, vetting and procurement of in-country filmmakers/video production teams

Ensure in-country teams have materials/information to coordinate permits and production logistics.

Coordination between in-country teams and our team to align on creative briefing and documentation needed for the shoots.

Make sure all image release documents, permit templates and other related documentation are consistent across all country projects

Make sure all materials and footage are backed up and shipped or transferred to the post production team at the end of filming, including:
10 x b-roll selection exports from each field shoot
20 x high-quality original photos documenting various aspects of the 10 field sites
Signed image release forms for all projects and participants
Shooting deliverables (from in country filmmaking teams)

Work with in-country filmmakers and their production teams to maintain reasonable budgeting and costs.

The vendor must have:
Strong experience and skill with documentary filmmaking, journalism and character-driven narrative storytelling
Ability to produce simultaneous international shoots and coordinating global network of vetted filmmakers
Experience working with high level officials and institutions
Experience working across multiple languages
