Engineer position working with a nationally recognized leader in broadcast and media technology solutions. Based at our St. Petersburg, Florida facility, this position is ideal for candidates with experience in soldering, test instrumentation, wiring, and advanced equipment troubleshooting. As a Bench Technician you will be part of a team that is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of broadcast equipment for events ranging from golf tournaments to auto racing, NFL telecasts and hundreds of other live events.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Component level repairs of broadcast equipment
Communicating with manufacturers and vendors to schedule outsourced repairs and keep record of RMA’s, shipment tracking and other documents related to those repairs
Maintaining in-house stock levels for parts and supplies required for repairs
Familiarity with cable harness assemblies and repairs a plus
Mechanical background, PC literacy and ability to read direction from schematics and build sheets are a plus

Basic Job Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs above shoulder level without assistance
Ability to stand, stoop and kneel for prolonged periods of time
Clean driver’s license
Experience with forklift operation is a definite plus
